According to the results of the survey many people feel that public schools are not the best place for their children to learn. One participant said, "There is too much going on in the school system that is good. They are teaching all the wrong things." Christian parents want their children to have a Christian education be taught about the creation not about the theory of evolution.
Out of 347 surveyed, 139 agree that homeschooling is better. Some of those surveyed had a problem with sending their kids to learn in an atmosphere where God and prayer aren't allowed. "Public schools tend to be places where God is not welcome and where His name is blasphemed," commented one participant. Many in this group don't believe that it is a safe place for their children to learn and certainly not a place that provides a Christian education for their kids.

Eighty-seven of the readers surveyed said that homeschooling is not better. The majority surveyed in this group seemed to be concerned about children learning proper social skills. Within this group many respondents feel that attending classes with others help prepare children for the real world. Competition with others usually challenges students to do better with their studies. One participant made the point that children need to face challenges so they can learn to apply the Word of God to their lives. Another respondent felt that it is necessary for a child to have interaction so that they can learn to get along with other children.

Many of the 121 participants who were unsure seemed to agree that it depends on the situation, upon the commitment of the parent, and what's best for the child. Some children seem to need more social interaction than others. If the home program is not stimulating enough the child could become bored and uninterested. For some, the choices are limited since many parents can't afford a private Christian education for their children and teaching them at home isn't possible because of the demands of other responsibilities.
