Qualified high school students will have the opportunity to

• get an early start on their college career by earning University of Delaware college credit before graduating from high school
• earn high school and college credit concurrently (depending on high school system)
• participate in the program without disrupting their high school schedule and without leaving their high school campus
• choose from a variety of interesting course topics
• meet with a University of Delaware academic advisor for assistance with academic or career planning
• learn what to expect from a college-level course

Positive Outcomes Charter School was founded in 1996 and provides educational opportunities for students who have experienced academic difficulty in a traditional school setting. For the past eleven years, we have served children from throughout the state of Delaware.  Now 95 graduates of Positive Outcomes Charter School are living, working, and going to college in Delaware and nearby states.  All of our graduates made progress and were able to salvage educational careers which had begun badly.  Your child can, too.  The staff at Positive Outcomes is knowledgeable about, and committed to, serving students who have been unsuccessful at other schools. Students select Positive Outcomes through an application process. This school seeks a cooperative working relationship with the traditional school districts and vocational school districts.
