Peoria Unified School
District eCampus - based in Glendale, Arizona
FROM THEIR WEBSITE: "What is PUSD
eCampus?
PUSD eCampus is a virtual high school that offers a variety of
accredited Web-based high school courses taught by
highly-qualified, certified district teachers. Through PUSD
eCampus, students have the option of taking a course where primary
access to course materials and communication with the instructor
and fellow students is primarily accomplished via the World Wide
Web. These online courses have been created either by our own PUSD
teachers or by Education Innovators, a privately held company
developed by Florida Virtual Schools.
Why does PUSD use Florida Virtual School courses?
These innovative, Internet-based courses were developed by Florida
educators. The courses are educationally sound, rich with
multimedia, and are aligned to our Arizona and PUSD curriculum
standards.
Who is eligible to take a PUSD eCampus High School course?
Enrollment in PUSD eCampus courses is not limited to PUSD high
school students. Homebound students, elementary students
seeking high school credit and out of district students may also
enroll in a PUSD eCampus course.
There is no tuition charge for a student if the student:
Was enrolled in a public school during the preceding school
year
Is currently enrolled in and actively attending an Arizona public
school
